Prayer Needed

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Greetings be to you from our Lord in the Lenten season, which helps us remember the Lord died for us in order to save us from the eternal wrath of God. The prophet Isaiah released God’s promise to all of us, saying, “He was pierced for our transgression, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us piece was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

Yesterday I shared with you that Pastor Chris would have had operation in the morning. Yet the doctoral team changed the plan due to his blood pressure being low and they want Pastor Chris to have more time to rest before the next operation. So they postponed the task on today (3/9). To my understanding, while I am writing you this letter, Pastor Chris is sending to the operation room for the surgery, which may take a couple of hours for completion.

Let me update you with Ceci’s word sent from the hospital earlier as follow:

“just got a call from the anesthesia specialist… He gave me an update that he is now moving Chris to the surgery room. Mentioned that Chris lung has blood clog and could cause complication with the heart… Just that he has a higher risk during the procedure.”

“The blood clot cannot be removed at this time. Pray that it isn’t a big clot and it won’t move to certain parts of the body… life threatening. God is with him.”

I urged you to pray with me as you read this letter. Ask God to protect Pastor Chris in the process of the operation; give the surgeons’ wisdom and discernment of every single risk while doing the procedure; and uplift the whole operation process as well as Pastor Chris himself into God’s hand. He is God to call people to live.

Praying:

“Lord Jesus Christ, in your ministry you healed many with frail and diseased bodies. Be present with your servant Pastor Chris as he undergoes surgery this morning. Bless him with faith in your loving kindness and protection. Endow all surgeons and the medical teams with alertness and skills so that, if it be your will, this surgery may help your servant to a speedy restoration of health and strength. We pray this in your name our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.”

Together we serve!

Blessings

Philippians 2:1-14

"Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others"
