For those who missed one or both of the Sunday Sessions. This day is for you to understand the KDG material as well as develop the mentality of how to run your family group.
On the Seventh day, the Lord took a rest from working on creation. Likewise, it is time for the counselors to take a rest from all their hard work and preparations. Take this time to relax while getting mentally and spiritually prepared for the summer.
Assessment is an important part of training our staffs. Assessment inspire us to ask hard questions such as, "Are we doing what we are supposed to be doing?" "Can we do it better?" All these are means to promoting being more professional.
SDC YLC Staff need to know not only the basic skill in facilitating our camp. we also need skills that will allow us to face a world that is continually changing. They must be able to think critically, to analyze, and to make inferences.
This exams and assessment are just part of what makes us better. From the assessment we shall see what has been learned and what we need to do to make up for the things we might have missed. This goes to same with our staff too.
Assessment exams will be taken within a designated assigned time on your own online. Exams are ready to be taken on May 2. More information will be updated by Leighton.
All group's Activity Planning Sheets are due today for Pre-approval.
